Guitar

Beginning Guitar Class is for students who wish to learn the basics of guitar playing.  We mainly focus on guitar fundamentals including chords, simple tablature, strumming techniques, and fun, popular songs.  There are 14 classical guitars available for student use, but you are more than welcome to bring in your own.

 

*NEW* for 2017, Guitar 2 Class is for Intermediate or Advanced students who either have taken the Beginning Guitar Class or are sufficiently ready through years of practice.  We will play more complex songs with tablature, strumming techniques, the Blues, chords, and scales.

 

There are no mandatory performances, but students are definitely encouraged to perform on their own or during school concerts.  See Mr. Brooks if you have any questions.  Sign up for an interesting and musically-fulfilling class!
