Concert "Pop" Choir

Chorus

Do you love to sing?  Do you just 'kinda' like to sing?  Maybe you belt it out while driving down the Million Dollar Highway with your friends?  Maybe you have never ever sung in front of people?  Perhaps you read along in church hymns, but never understood what the notes meant.  Have you written songs before?
If you think you fit into any of these or other categories, then you belong in the "Pop" Choir!  Sign up for the semester long course and experience great camaraderie, awesome performances throughout the year, and, of course, singing.  We sing anything ranging from music from "The Hunger Games" to "Pompeii" to "Les Miserables" in all contemporary chorus and a cappella styles.

SMAHS Concert "Pop" Choir meets daily as a 0.5 credit semester course.  As a performance-based class, all students perform in concerts throughout each season including:

September/October - The National Anthem at school sporting events
November - School campus Veteran's Day Assembly
December - Holiday Concerts for parents, the school, and nursing homes
March/April - District-Wide Concert
May - High School Spring Concert and nursing home tour

As a member of the choir, you will also have the opportunity to audition for Select Choir and PMEA District Choir.

Come down to see what it's all about!   Feel free to email or ask questions anytime.  Hope to see you here again!
